Concert review by Amir Amozig: “And now we come to the headliner from Ottawa, Sophia Radisch. She is 24 and has been writing, singing and playing music since she was 15. Sophia is very evidently engaged in a labour of love as a musician with every fibre of her being. There isn't the slightest pretense with her performance. She bears her soul authentically with impeccable musicianship and overwhelming charisma keeping the audience enraptured and hungry for more. In her sound/vocal delivery you can hear elements of Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Alanis and bands like 4 Non-Blondes/90's Grunge. As stated with the previous acts she successfully re-channels these influences to create a musical aura that is truly hers. She was backed tonight by a A-list team of session players, Guitar virtuoso Zack Sarkissian, drum master Justin Piedimonte and bassist extraordinaire Sandro Ferraro. May Montreal keep on bringing her back and may her career reach global shores.” 🧡🎩🌹🎉🔥 #petitcampus#montrealrock #mtlrocks #musicians#singer#songwriter#rocknroll#montrealmusic... See MoreSee Less
